Carnival, Norwegian Cruise Lines, and Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines will all be there!
The Carnival Triumph will continue its service to New Orleans until November 14, 2011. At that time, the Triumph will move to Galveston. That's when we will get 2 ships - the Carnival Ecstasy and the Carnival Conquest. So Carnival will actually have TWO ships positioned in New Orleans YEAR-ROUND!!
The Carnival Conquest will be making two different routes through the Caribbean.
1. 7-day itinerary will include: Montego Bay, Jamaica; Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands; and Cozumel, Mexico!
2. 7-day itinerary will include: Key West, FL, Freeport, Bahamas; and Nassau, Bahamas!
The Carnival Ecstasy will have 4 and 5-day cruises
1. 4-day itinerary will include: Cozumel, Mexico!
2. 7-day itinerary will include: Progreso, Yucatan, Mexico and Cozumel, Mexico
Beginning November 7, 2010 (THIS YEAR!) Norwegian Cruise Lines' Norwegian Spirit will be positioned in New Orleans YEAR-ROUND! They only take 7-day cruises and only has one itinerary....but it's a nice one!
1. 7-day itinerary will include: Cozumel, Belize City, Roatan, Costa Maya!
Between November 2011 and April 2012, Royal Caribbean will be sending the Voyager of the Seas to New Orleans! This 3,114-passenger ship will be the largest to ever be based in the city. It will only take 7-day cruises and only has one itinerary....
1. 7-day itinerary will include: Falmouth,Jamaica; Cozumel, Mexico, and Grand Cayman!
It's not too soon to book your cruise for next year. The best prices are usually early and you absolutely have the best pick of cabins early! I already have a group set up for November 13-20, 2011 and there are still some cabins being held at a great group rate - including a $75 per stateroom on-board credit.
